The blue book adds 40% for the target edition. What sets the target model apart from the standard 69A ? Thanks

  I beieve it had peep sights? There is also a premium I beleive for the grooved receiver as many did not have this. I inherited mine from my grandfather,..it was the first gun I learned to shoot. It still shoots very well to this day.
  
  why chase the game when the bullet can get em from here?....

  The 69a target stock reciever is flat on the side where the peep sight goes.I've seen a few dealers trying to pass off regular 69a's as target models.These models are bringing a premium if all original.Last one thru the shop went for $425.00 in goog condition.
