Why was my topic locked?

why did this get locked.

  All threads in the Ask the Experts forum get locked after 10 replys or so. They figure most questions should have been answerd by then, and the moderators don't want it to become just a discussion like the general forum.
  
  If you have additional questions, just start a new thread.

  I have found in Ask The Experts after 10 replies the topic gets locked or when the answer to the question is made avaliable. My 2 cents [8D]
