semi-autos shotgun?

Looking for a 12ga semi. One that will handle various loads and hunt small game to turkey. Thank you, Jeronimo.

    The best semi-automatic shotgun made today, IMHO, is the Benelli. It can fire 2 2/4", 3" and 3 1/2" magnum shells. I own a Super Black Eagle with a 28" barrel and use it for goose, pheasant, trap and skeet. Since it's recoil operated, you don't have to worry about carbon plugging up gas ports. And with its famous M-16 like bolt assembly, you can take it home after a rainy or dusty hunt, disassemble the action, clean, oil and reassemble it and you don't have to worry about the action getting cruddy and fouled up. It's admittedly on the pricey side--I think they're in the $1200 range, but if you can afford it, it'll serve you well and last a long, long time.

    Jazzman has it right on the Benelli. The only thing about the Benelli is they do have more felt recoil than some other autos. Since you want the advantage of 2 3/4 to 3 1/2 shells in one gun it is the way to go. The Beretta extrema is also popular. For clay target sports Remington 1100 or 1187 is superior, but you do not have athe option of using 3 1/2 shells.

    Look at the Saiga. Not too exspensive and magazine fed. so you can change ammo very quickly for dove or turkey or slugs. My 2 cents [8D]

    I'm more partial to Beretta, for your use, consider the Beretta Xtrema 3.5. It handles 2 3/4, 3, and 3.5 shells. I wing shoot, and shoot sporting clays. The Beretta handles the heavy use.... Have had a Benelli and a Stoeger.. didn't have success with them...

    Ima go with the browning on this 1.I have a gold hunter wich i take duck hunting and if it can stand up to me duck hunting well.....tta says enough 4 me

    Stay away from the 3 1/2s how ofen do you need,
    and all that extra weight
    Benelli,browning,remington I have all 3
    I tote the benelli the most,its the lightest
    The remington is a combo gun

    Depends how much money you are looking to spend. If you have the money go for the Benelli, Browning, or Beretta. All three are excellent guns that will serve you well. I myself carry a an Old Browning A5 magnum that I just cant seem to miss with. But if you are a low budget hunter you could take a look at The Stoeger Semi-Autos. They use the same recoil system as the Benelli guns, but are more plain. My cousin has one and has had no complaints. Also you could check out the EAA MP-153 series of guns. They come in synthetic and wood stocks and shoot 2 3/4 up to 3 1/2 shells all for about half of some benelli guns. Hope this helps.

    i like the remington 1100 my self, had on in a 20 gauge, and i still have one in 12. shoots like a dream.

    rem synthetic 1100-my poor shotgun has had at least 8000 rounds throught it, frozen solid with water, and was kept filthy and kept on shootin.
