Winchester 100 Stock removal??

Is there a trick? I have removed screw behind trigger gaurd and the one forward into barell lug, but still will not release completely.

  To remove action after screws are removed. Pull bolt all the way back and hold it, pull up on barrel and action should come upward and out. Hold the action as it comes out. Reinstall the action by reversing the sequence.

  If I remember correctly, after removing the magazine, you must pull the cocking lever to the rear and then pull apart the action and stock.
