This question has come up before. The pistol your refering to is virtually identical to the Wilkinson "Sherry", except it was made for sale by a large Southern Calif. wholesaler/jobber.
Wilkinson started out in the gun business in the PRK, but moved to Idaho when things started getting ulgy.
Believe your pistol would date to the 90's rather then the 70's.

The company was started by Wilkinson. Right before the owner passed away he sold the Auto Nine Corp.It was moved to Idaho as a labor saving cost move, long before Kalifornia was anti-gun.
My friend had one of the Hollywood made guns. It was his first gun. Seemed to work fine until someone dry fired it. The firing-pin would break every time. I saw the firing-pin tip come flying out of the barrel[:(] one time at the range out of the corner of my eye.

Sounds right so far. I was quessing on the age, but he said he bought it 15b years ago. I figured it was an early model.
Wants $200 delivered. Sounds $75 high.
Besides the firing pin issue, is it a reliable backup to my Kahr PM9 or PPK/S?

Jim- I have several and sold many years ago. They are well machined pistols with one design flaw. They are prone to losing the extractors after only firing a few rounds. Everyone I sold I would first file a greater angle on the extractor where the pin and spring engaged.Do a Google and see if they're still around. I know I was able to purchase parts and mags about 10 years ago.

Thought I'd add that once the extractor is corrected they are totally reliable... I had one on my ccw for several years...0 -
I've got it.
I wouldn't pay $200 delivered again, but it is well-made.
In the right market, $75-$125.
But it is tough to get anyone to sell you a well-made functioning semi-auto, even if it is a .22lr, for those low prices.
