Tikka/Sako recall?

First, thanks for the knowledgeable responses regarding Colt lightweight bolt-actions.

Now for the latest on the stainless barrel issue regarding certain Tikka/Sako rifles. The "range" of serial numbers is staggering yet I'm told only a "few" barrels are impacted. I've called their customer service line but have not yet received a call back. Is there a way for the "layman" to determine if his/her rifle is at risk or should I wait to hear from the maker/mfg and will they just "toe the company line" per their legal staff? Thank you again.
