Immy,
http://makarov.com is your answer. The Maks are exceptionally easy to field strip and clean.

Gotta be the easiest self-loader in the world to service. A total strip can be done almost without tools. Complete disassembly is almost never done, as the barrel is fixed to the frame. And the trigger guard spring assembly needs to be drifted out ONCE, to get the cosmo out, after that, the oil you leave in it stays in it, and does not need replacement. For normal detail cleaning, leave the extractor in, too. As for the rest, once you have the grip off, and the sear spring loose, you can do the rest with your bare hands. When doing a more routine clean, the only places that really need to be cleaned are the firing pin channel, the bore, and the areas exposed when you remove the slide. You can probably do it in 5 minutes.

To get at least as far as their old man got,
But something happened on the way to that place,
They threw an American flag in our face."
