Lighter faster Bullet or slower heavier?

I am debating what bullet to load for my new Sako 75 7mm Ultra mag. I love the performance of the Lazzeroni Laserhead bullets but they only make a 120 grain for the 7mm. What would tend to be more accurate at a longer range (450 yards). A 120 grain going 3700 fps or a Premier Core-Lokt Ultra 140 grain going 3400 fps if both were 1" moa at 100 yards and both had similar B/C (.411 & .409).

Will the wind wreck more havoc on the light bullet that gets there faster or the heavier bullet that gets there slower?

  As far as impact performance goes, you could use the lighter bullets, but I'd want to make sure they were a sturdy bonded core or other premium type bullet.

  100 yd groups don't count (esp with a long range rig) look at the 300yd groups.
  I haven't run the balistics, but as a rule of thumb, somewhere around 500yd the lighter bullet will be passed by the heavier one.

  I think Tailgunner is right, that is typically the case. As for wind deflection the heavier bullet has the advantage. And Travis what RayB says is also very true, the hyper velocity rounds like yours dictate a really sturdy bullet no matter which weight you shoot, I'm a big fan of the Barnes X bullets and used Nosler Accubonds this year with pretty good results, some folks like the partitions and others like the fail safes but the general rule should be a sturdy bullet.
