Colt Ultralite 30/06

What do you think of this gun? Is it accurate? Does the ultralite design have any drawbacks? Can you give me any info on this gun. BTW it has a 24" bbl. Is $450 a good price? Last, does a rifle require a FFL to purchase over the net?

  I can't help with questions about accuracy, etc. but you must have the rifle shipped to an ffl holder if the seller is not a resident of the same state as your state of residence. The procedure is as follows: Buyer locates a dealer to whom the rifle is to be shipped. Make sure you know what the dealer will charge and whether or not he will accept a shipment from a nonlicensee. You or the dealer must send a manually signed copy of the receiving dealers ffl to the seller. It is customary for the buyer to pay in advance and pay shipping.

  thanks for the explanation of how that works...it sucks just starting something and having so much to learn...but hey, ill keep me busy for a while [:)]
