HiStandard Auto odd trigger&spring.
Please help. I need a spring.
I have an older HiStandard Lightweight Sport King .22 auto. It has a broken trigger spring, unlike any in all 10 schematics I have checked. The frame is identical to all "Supermatic" schematics, in seven reference books, and Brownell's drawing. It has the tongue and groove barrel and sideplate of the Supermatic. The slide is pure Sport King type.
BUT, the trigger closely resembles the schematic for the M100 series, except my .250 trigger has a .060 slot down the middle, and the very small diameter spring sits in that slot. That schematic shows a long coil spring and plunger in front of the trigger of different configuration. NOT ON MINE.
I tried Brownell's first but not luck.
So I need a spring for this gun, and a schematic if possible. Any suggestions or availability??

im tidying up here before my trip and saw your post. what does it read on your slide? s-100, o-100, s-101 or just a serial number? do you have a new haven or hamden gun? 0 -

ok, give me a serial now. first 4 is ok.

there are two springs it can be depending on year. both guns early and late have a spring that look like an open safety pin with a 'double wrap' wire circle. the newer gun will have an extra spring that looks like a bent christmas ornament hook with a 'one wrap' circle. in other words, one gun gets the extra one, the other doesnt. let me know![^] 0
