WHAT'S NEW MOSSBERG HI-POWER??
While at Wally-World pre XMas, I saw a new Mossberg in the locked rack. It was either a .308 or 30/06, with walnut and blue. I thought it said ASM, but there was not staff on hand to show me. Anybody know what these are??

Mossberg ATR 100----made by Mavrick Arms out of Texas and Mossberg logo added.....$244.00 at Wally World ---made in .270Win and 30-06.
I had one in .270 (seemed to be prototype). Had no markings on it as far as Manufacturer, Caliber and no safety warnings that are normally found on new firearms..Trigger was crisp, locked up good and after a few break in rounds (150 Rem Core-Lokt) shot 5 rounds into .75 inches at 100 meters. Stock is all molded plastic, barrel is free floated all the way. Flimsey magazine follower, one piece stamped and bolt will tend to catch on it if no cartridge in magazine. Front of follower should have been designed with a round edge front. Has a small barrel shroud on it (AKA Savage barrel nut) but is smooth. Chamber and rifleing well cut. I suspect this rifle got out of the factory without being completed....ATR means All Terrain Rifle....for the once in a while hunter just hunting the local whitetail for meat it would be ok..comes with scope base mounted..IMHO...0 -
