Remington model 141 30 rem

Have a chance to pick up a Remington model 141 slide action in 30 remington,the rifle is in excellent condition i'd probably say 90% hasn't been shot alot has been in this guys safe for alot of years,just wondering if these rifles have any collector value to them and how much it would be worth and where would i find ammo for it,any help would be appreciated,mixer

  Ammo may be a bit hard to find, but it is out there. The 30 Rem. is just a rimless 30-30 and you can make brass from this case by turning the rim to .422 diam. and cutting a new extractor groove. 25 Rem. brass (equally scarce) can also be used by necking it up to 31 cal. Do a search on some gun auction sites, check back every few days, you will eventually find something. That is how I found a good supply of both 25 Rem and 30 Rem ammo and brass for my mdl. 14 (25 Rem) and mdl. 8 in 30 Rem. And yes, the rifle is collectible, sounds like a nice one. Emery
