Does fed law 218 apply to retired Reserve Deputy Constable with 19 years service.

It depends on your Quals to carry on/off duty, But mainly your state and DEPARTMENT/county-it ain't simple[}:)][:)][:D]

Were you a "paid" employee, or an unpaid volunteer? As a volunteer your retirement doesn't usually count, and you would lose your "active" status when you retire. 0 -

That is so true you can do 20 years in Texas as unpaid and it doesn't count,.. So you can't get your concealed handgun as being a retired police officer. That sure SUCKS[8D]
