Camo or no camo for turkey gun?

I will be buying my first turkey gun shortly and was wondering if camo was worth the extra money or not. I want your thoughts.
What do you prefer. Do you have camo on your turkey gun or don't ya think it matters?

    I dont' Save the $150.00 and buy shells.

    I WOULD RATHER BE DUCK HUNTING.

    I think it DOES matter but it doesn't have to cost very much they sell both paint and tape at least get a mat finish instead of GLOSS.

    Go with a 3 1/2" mag. no camo. This combined with Hvy. Shot can't be beat. Stay Safe.

    I think a moderate amount of camo is needed on any turkey gun. Just a little to break up the long unnaturally shiny profile. A flat nonreflective paint job will work. I've used the hunters specialties paint it yourself kits and they are plenty good plus removeable.

    I myself am an avid turkey hunter and have never used camo on my gun.I think that blued and wood or even synthetic blend in just fine they look like a branch.....but im not a turkey am i.So i just believe that u shouldnt waste the money just spend teh money on a good choke tube and shells and you can blow ther heads off before they can tell wether its a browning or a remington...lmao

    I think matte is good enough,but why not get camo
    buy a shotgun with the thought of keeping it for a life time
    or more
    And why just turkey,How about waterfoul ??

    MATTE BLUE, PAINT OR CAMO WORKS, THOSE BIRDS SEE SHINEY STUFF WE DON'T !!!!!!!!!

    A COUPLE CHEAP CAN'S OF SPRAY PAINT WORKS JUST FINE AND YOU CAN STRIP IT LATER IF YOU DON'T LIKE IT

    Gun control is hitting what your aiming at.

    My Ulti-Mag has the wood stock because I'd rather look at
    wood than some butt-ugly camo.[:D]

    BUT,come season,I use the camo tape to cover it up not only
    for the camo effect,but it also helps protect it against
    scratches and such from bein' in the brush.

    As far as the turkey goes,any dull finish will be better than
    high gloss since the wild turkey is one of the few animals
    on earth that can "see the wind blow".

    I think if your personal preference is camo, then go with it. But as has already been said, a matte finish works fine, or the paint. My biggest and best bird came with a Mossberg 500, no matte or paint or tape, just a Hastings turkey choke. I do have a camo turkey gun now, though. Just keep still!!
