BDL to ADL Stock.
Can I put a Remington 700 ADL stock on a gun that was an BDL to begin with without any problems?

bdl has a floor plate...adl does not...maybe you could cut out...not sure about that... 0 -
I'm thinking all I need is to get an ADL triggerguard, magazine spring and follower. 0 -
Yes -- They interchange. Make sure the new stock is the same length(long or short action)and was from the same caliber group, ie: Magnum or Standard calibers, as the Magnum barrels have a slightly heavier taper and larger barrel channel. You can utilize the magazine spring and cartridge follower from the other stock but may need to get new receiver screws and will need a trigger guard..............good luck.......[8D]. 0 -
ALSO NEED TO CHANGE THE MAGAZINE BOX. 0 -
Brownells used to offer a kit to convert bdl to adl. Don't know if they still have the kit but they have the individual parts. You'll need: trigger guard, mag box, maybe action screws, and I think that's all. You'll need to make sure that the mag box fits the bottom of the action right or it won't feed.
