My grandfather purchased this shotgun many years ago from a local hardware store in our town. He has passed away and I inherited his firearms. I have this Remington Model 11-48, semi automatic, with an improved cylinder. The gun is in decent shape on the outside and still works fine. The only thing wrong is it consistantly shoots a little low. I was wondering how much this gun is worth.

bridgebuilder, the 11-48 was discontinued around 1960 with the introduction of the Sportsman '58 as a guess, after being introduced around 1948. I don't have a list of serial numbers and dates handy, but there are others on this site who can tell you when the gun was made if you give us the letter codes on the barrel.
    Cheers,
