Tryon double

My brother has in his posession a Tryon 12 ga double. This has been in our family since I was a boy. I am now 73 yr. My brother shot his first ringneck with this gun. Dad was a good shot on ringnecks too. Anyone know of this model?

  E.K. Tryon of Philadelphia was a hardware store, not a manufacturer.
  
  Check for proofmarks on the shotgun. If it has them, it's a Belgian import. If not, it was probably made by the Crescent Firearms Co. of Norwich, CT.
  
  Generally speaking, the Crescent made guns are of good quality, though they have little collector value.
