OLD ANSCHUTZ
CAN ANYONE TELL ME ABOUT A ANSCHUTZ RIFLE, ACTION AND BARREL ARE ANSCHUTZ. REAR SIGHT, BUTT PLATE, TRIGGER GUARD AND STOCK ARE CUSTOM. ONLY MARKING ARE ON BARREL cal. .22 long rifle AND NUMBER 35370. ANSCHUTZ SAYS THEY NO LONGER HAVE RECORDS FOR THAT #. THE STOCK I BELIEVE IS TYROLEAN. THE SIGHTS THOUGH I HAVE NO IDEA.

Your photo is to small for any sort of positive I.D. But it appears that somebody who knew what they were doing, made it in to a off hand target rifle. Being chambered in .22 LR it's likely post W W II, reworked in Europe.
If you could post quality close-up photos of the proof marks and manufacturers markings, might help in further identification and dating.0
