Just wondering if it is necessary to remove the standard buckhorn sight when using an optional tang sight for a taurus model 62 or 63.

  bolt up tang sight & see ...might have to only remove rear sight elevator so it is at lowest position...especially if you are aiming at a longer distance when it is necessary to lower rear of rifle
