Armalite AR 180 serial number/date of manufacture

I have searched high and low and can not find any info on AR 180 production dates/serial # ranges. Anybody have a clue when a Costa Mesa produced Ar 180 with a serial # of s15xx would have been produced? Any info would be helpful, Thanks
