SA 58 (part II)

Ok as I mentioned in my previous post (SA 54 Para Congo) that I did buy the rifle. The rifle was purchased by the original owner new 3 years ago. My question now is how do I know what model this one is. It's a DSA 58 but I don't see any markings on it other than the serial number and DSA and the address. I am working on attaching a photo but have yet to figure out how. So if anyone can help me figure what model it is I would really appreciate it.

  Go to their web site. They sell all the parts required to assemble one on their site. The only way you are going to find out if your is factory, (which I don't believe it is at the price you got it for), is to contact their customer service folks. Give them the serial number and request information on how it left their factory, i.e. either as a fully assembled functional rifle. Or more likely just a receiver they sold as parts.

  I called the company. It was not the Para Congo. It however is the Para Tactical. It was sold as the complete rifle. Thanks everyone for their help. I feel good now that I know what kind it is and that I got a good deal on it.

  If it has a folding stock someone probably bought the standard rifle and fitted a para cover, bolt carrier and spring assembly and stock to it - those parts may or may not be DSA manufacture. Difference between the standard and para is that the springs for a conventional rifle are housed in the rifle stock, they're housed in the cover in the para version.
  
  I have the STG carbine, been thinking about making it a para version but just a bit too lazy.
