Does anyone here do nickel plating(maybe crome) say a revolver cyl? Close to the mid west? Guessament on cost? Thanks / Eddie

  Has anyone tried Caswell's electroless nickel plating kits?

  You might try Texas Platers Supply - find on Bing or google. They sell a DIY kit that works well for me. In electroplating as in bluing the quality of the finish depends on preparation beforehand - good polishing and cleaning.

  It's not just dropping a part in a plating tank at the local plating shop. In order for the gun to work properly, you need an expert gunsmith to do the job. Plating adds thickness to parts. Plus, all parts must be carefully examined for wear.
  
  No one can guess the cost, especially if they don't know what kind of gun.
