Magnifing Glass

My old std. type magnifing glasses just aren't cutting it anymore. My eye sight I'm sure. Been looking at the "Eschenback" led style 5X with the 60mm lens and 20 diaptors. About $100. Anyone have experience with these or anyother they might reccomend?

  Yes. Get to E-bay, or sumsuch and lookup 'Jewellers Loupe'. They usually come in sets of three (5X, 2.5X, and 10X). Then..
  
  Get a square reading magnifier. The square variety is designed to maginfy using both eyes. I can't remember what brand I got my mother (also on E-bay), but it was either Bushnell, or most likely, Bausch & Lomb. Total for both items? About fifteen dollars. Good luck! Joe

  Stop by Harbor Freight. They sell a 2 lens loupe that CLIPS to the temple bar of glasses for less than $5. I also keep a lighted magnifier on a swivel arm mounted to my workbench. Paid $2 at local thrift shop. Getting old sux!
