Marlin 795
had the girfriends kids out the other day bought them a couple of semi auto 22s a year ago, well finally got them out the savage did not chamber the round all the time upon view it required some dremel work with the magazine. after that it was great.the marlin however had it issues chambering it seemed to lessen as i went along. however it started again the last few times.i was using fedral champion i prefer lightning but have not found them in my area.the manual says federal classic but i have a bolt action and it likes the champion should i try a adjustment or a ammo adjustment hopefully somebody knows.

Bought one just before Christmas and after the rebate, it was only $100 at Dick's. Put 100 rounds through it and it worked flawlessly.
Question. I need a little windage adjustment, as it shoots slightly right at the indoor range. Can I just bend the rear sight, since there is no built in adjustment? I'd be bending against the width of the flat steel sight, which would take a bit of force, and I don't want to break anything. Or, should I go for a $40 scope?
Any thoughts?0 -
The rear sight is in a dovetail. Take a small brass punch and tap it over to the LEFT a little. DON'T TRY TO BEND IT [xx(] 0 -
