Cleaning Solvent for Plastic Removal?
I have a T/C muzzle loader that appears to now have a build up of
plastic due to shooting many sabots. Appears to be in the last couple
of inches just before bullet seats on the powder.
Regular solvents and bore brush have not worked well at all. Any suggestions on a solvent and where do I order it from?
Thanks Guys!

Butches Bore Shine will take it out, and you can get it most anywhere. Gunzilla also works well and is vegetal based which is nice for front stuffers. 0 -
Laquer thinner will take it out. 0 -
Shooters Choice choke tube cleaner will remove it well. 0 -
All of the above, and I used to use Rusty Duck shotgun bore and choke cleaner. I will tell you to be careful...any of this stuff mentioned in this thread so far also likes to eat fiber optic light tubes!..especially the ones in the front sights.

Carb and choke cleaner will work too. I use it on my trap guns to remove the wad residue. 0
