chamber insert

Looking for a chamber insert for a .308 to a 7.62X25 and / or a 7.62X39.
Does anyone sell them?
I can't seem to find a supplier [?]

    Hi,
    I'm trying to remember the name for a chamber insert which allows one to chamber and fire a smaller cartridge in a firearm; E.G. a 32 auto in a 308 rifle or 22LR in a 223.

    The site owner will supposedly do inserts not listed on a custom basis, so this may be worth a phone call.

    Also, realize that a nominally 7.62x39 actually uses a .312" (7.92mm) caliber bullet.

    So they're a bit oversized for most .308s, though I don't know how problematic that will be in the real world.

    No need to go custom; they already offer the one you're looking for. Up to you to decide whether you want to "Loctite" the insert into your chamber and then use a stuck case extractor when you want to switch back to .308. Personally I'd pass, but then I don't have a large quantity of 7-39 ammo. I'd sell it and buy .308 components.[:D]

    How about an adaptor instead of an insert? The type that looks like a cartridge & allows you to load one round at a time.

    I have repeatedly EMAILED this company. NO response of any kind.
    I guess I will have to use the phone.
