K98 Banner Rifle Help??
Hi all, first of all i would like to say what an amazing forum this is and good job on it!
Now for my question
in my collection i have a genuine 1934 K98 Banner Rifle and need help on it. first of all i would like to know what its letter code means, it is B15474. and if a standard K98 Grenade launcher would fit to it, i know my genuine war time K98 bayonets fit perfectly though.
Regards Kyle

Can't help with serial number prefix. Rifle wouldn't be considered a 98k by collectors, rather a "Standard Model" short rifle. The "parade hook" on the upper band is a indicator of this model, which should also have a straight bolt, along with other slight differences from the latter 98k. 0
