Ruger MKII 22/45 scope mount base
I am doing research for a new 22lr pistol. I am looking at a Ruger MKIII 22/45 and I see it comes with a Weaver Style scope base/mount. My question....will the rear sight have to be removed to install the scope mount base? I searched Ruger's website and also down loaded the pdf manual and it shows the mount has 3 mounting screws. Pictures of the firearm and the pictures in the manual show 3 screws on top of the receiver/barrel. It appears the rear sight does not have to be removed but I am not sure. Anyone have one???
