Info please...

Hello,
I recently was given an old rifle and would like to learn more about
it. The name on it is Cruso, and it is a model CB, a sinlge shot .22.
I would like to know about how old it is or any thing else about it.

    Cruso was a Trade Name used by Hibbard, Spencer, Bartlett & Co. They were a large wholesale hardware company located in Chicago IL, during the early years of the 20th Century. Their products were inexpensive utility grade guns that were sold in many small local hardware stores prior to 1930's. Your rifle is probably at least 80 years old.
