El Dorado info needed
Just purchased an el dorado ss 10 1/2" , 44 mag, exc cond - would like info and value - it was made in n.y. and not in tucson - no "t" in front of serial number

There used to be a member here that had a direct-connection with the person that designed this fine quality revolver maybe he will see your post and chime in. I think Kart was who actually built your pistol and were very high quality machining. Kart still makes 1911 Match grade barrels and is located in N.C. he used to make 22 conversion units for 1911's that IMHO the best ever made. I have a number of them I use in match shooting. 0 -
You have an excellent and collectible single action revolver. It was made by United Sporting Arms Company. I own one that was made in Chimney Rock, NC. I value El Dorado's at $750 in excellent condition. You can find some good information on "Graybeards Outdoor Forum" by searching under the "Single Action" Forum there and by going to the link below to read Lee Martin's article. The person you need to talk to is John D. Himmelmann. He sometimes posts on the forum I mentioned.
