Can't find a Colt Gold Cup S-70 sear
I have a Gold Cup that thinks its a full auto and every sear we have been sent is not the correct one.
If you are familiar with it the GC S70 sear has a hole in it compared to well, not having a hole.
Anyone know who actually has one I can order?
We have tried the usual sources, Brownell, Midway etc.

Sounds like you need a hammer to go along with your new sear. 0 -
wulfmann-there is a Colt pistolsmith here that fixed my Colt...he isn't cheap but he does great work. If interested send me a note and I will send you name and phone number. If it is a Colt he can fix it, Colts is about all he works on. Best. 0 -
Wulfmann,
Check with www.cylinder-slide.com/

Wulfmann did you happen to loose the small piece that prevent doubling in the gold cup because the trigger is heavy and can BUMP fire a series 70 Gold Cup looks sort of like a small piece of thin metal with a L shape on one end. [?][?]. 0 -
Or try Jack First, Inc. in Rapid City, S. Dakota. Don't forget to order that wee little spring that goes in the hole if you don't still have it. I would still find a good gunsmith to fit the sear and check the hammer as already mentioned above. Good luck. 0 -
Plus www.cylinder and slide. Bill can do the work. 0 -
I am looking for the parts not someone to put the parts in, but thanks.
I will contact cylinder to see if they have the parts
I am sure these guys can do it but we want the part so we know how to complete the job ourselves.
Every sear we have ordered has come back the regular S-70 sear not the GC.
