Bullpup stock on a AK74?
Anyone tried this? I'm thinking of putting one on my ak74 5.45x39.[:D]

Being left handed I can't do it. Not sure I want my face over the ejection port of the AK. Might be fun to add one to the collection but a Romy steel side folder makes the overall length pretty much the same. 0 -

Yeah I've never seen a bullpup in 5.45x39 so I figured I'd try it[:p].0 -
I get emails from Copes Distributing who's prices are very fair. Recent one had Bulgarian 5.45 parts kits with barrels for $899!
Not sure what 5.45 rifle you have but if it's a Bulgy or Interarms Tantal, I would not bullpup it.
Wasr 2? They are getting hard to find and are more sought after having a chrome lined Romy barrel then some of the recent kit rifles. The Wasr 5.45 shoots surplus better than the Century Tantals that keyhole with anything other than wolf.
But it's your gun.0 -

Yeah its a wasr-2. I didn't know they are getting hard to find, heck I know where 2 are I could get for 800 for both. Think I might just pick'um up.0 -
I think you coukd do the AKU-94 bull-pup conversion this kit doesnt require permentent modification to the base gun.
Here's my Mak-90

I like it. Whats the difference in kits, what needs modifying on the others? Where did you get the kit? Here is the kit I'm waiting on.

Firing a high velocity bullpup with its' muzzle close to your face, I suspect, will sour you on keeping it in that configuration.
I wouldn't do it.0 -

I had to modify the "stock" on mine a bit but thats the same kit ... I also used an Ulti-mak optic mount instead of their sights.0
