I am reposting this with pics attached: Help me ID this Bolt Action 7mm Mag
My grandfather has a 7mm Magnum that I would like to know a little bit about the manufacturer and the quality of their work....basically if this is a excellent, good, average, or poor quality rifle. The stamps on the left side of the barrel and chamber read ADANAC ALPINE CUSTOM BNP (WITH A CROWN ABOVE IT) 7 M/M MAGNUM 2-50" 19-5 TONS PER (SQUARE)" MAG - 78962 The opposite side of the barrel has the following stamped into the metal BNP(with a crown above it) FIREARMS CO. BRIDGEWATER ENGLAND. If anyone could offer any help it would be greatly appreciated. I have photos of the rifle and of most of the markings that I will try to include, if not I can email them to someone.

I believe you have a Santa Barbara Magnum commercial Mauser 98 Clone If you remove from stock and look on the side of Magazine floor plate trigger guard I think you will see the word SPAIN. the receiver looks like it was refinished as the word MAG in front of the serial number looks like someone did a very poor job with a buffer wheel and Smeared the letter M very badly[:(] The barrel was installed in England from what I can see of it's markings. The rifle I would think would bring almost as much for the receiver to build a custom rifle as it will bring as it is . 0
