    Hi,
I have an A5 with a barrel that's stamped "Hastings - Made in France". Obviously not the original barrel. Can anyone tell me about this? The guns serial checks as a Belgian Browning, but this barrel I know nothing about. Thanks in advance,
    Scott

Probably a good price; advice to look closely at everything is good. Japanese gun with Browning standard invector choke? Forearm cracked? Original butt pad and stock not cut? If a 3 inch mag should have a Browning recoil pad. Might check to be sure the internal tube magazine cap is still in place. These have a way of disappearing and when you take the gun apart the magazine tube spring is a little tricky to put back when reassembling the gun. If all looks good after close inspection, $450 is a GREAT price if you want a mag A5. Kind of heavy; I've dragged mine across a few pheasant fields but soon went back to a Sweet Sixteen.
