What year was the Marlin model 80(22lr semi auto) introduced and is it still made?

  the marlin mod 80 is a bolt action mfg 1934 to approx 1970. the model 60 which is the semi-auto started 1960 and I believe are still made.

  Thanks, I guess i'm lookin for the Model 60 or model 70. Saw a model 80 on the auction side that was represented as a semi auto.

  The model 60 is a tube magazine semi auto still very well made. The model 70 is a "take down" version of the 60 and is feed from a removable mag. The 795 is the standard removable mag version of the 60.
