new flash suppressor
just purchased a YHM Phantom type muzzle devise for my stag arms Ar.
what is the best way to get the stock A2 flash suppressor off and install the new one correctly.
I would like to do the work myself and avoid gunsmithing expenses.
any suggestions would be appreciated

If is just threaded on, use a 3/4 wrench and screw the old one off and the new one on. If the new one has a solid bottom, you might need a new peel washer to align it right. 0 -
the new one came with i think it is a crush washer. i do not think it is pinned on but i guess i need a vise and a lil muscle to loosen the old one 0 -
The correct tools are usually are a good idea to avoid damage to your gun.
Brownell's has a video on their website showing the procedure for changing AR flash suppressors.
