I recently purchased a Glock 31 in .357 Sig and out of the box this gun shoots great, My question is, I have a friend who has a Glock 22 with an aftermarket barrel in .357 Sig, we shot the same ammo out of both guns, his had groups off the paper, we both shot both guns, and the factory barrel shot groups in the 2 inch range. When we compared the barrels the factory barrel had a clockwise twist, the aftermarket barrel had a counterclockwise twist. We swapped barrels and when the aftermarket was in my gun it also shot poorly. My question is would direction of twist have this much affect?

Lone Wolf barrels are first rate. I have two for my G 27, a .357 Sig and a 9mm. Both work fine, ( the 9mm requires that you use G 26 magazines). The additional length isn't a negative factor to me. You can buy them direct from Lone Wolf, with out going through C t D, they have a extensive net site.

Replacement sights can be obtained from Brownells who also have a large net site and on-line catalog.

I only replaced the front sight on my G 27, with a steel one from Brownells. As the original Glock sights are plastic their easily removable. The replacement steel sight is held on with a small threaded screw. When you buy the sight they include a small wrench used to tighten the screw. It's best to also use locktight, to insure the screw doesn't loosen do to slide vibration when firing. As the night sights can be more fragile then standard ones, you might consider having them installed by gunsmith if you don't have the proper tools and experience.

I bought a Wolf for my Glock 34, also works great in my 17. They are good for the lead ammo Glock says NOT to shoot in their factory barrels.
