S&W Auto question
I have a S&W CS645. Is it normal for the CS 645 barrel to contact the frame just in front the magazine well on both sides of the frame...the frame is now nice and shiney on either side for the frame just in front of magazine well.

Are you talking about the slide on the rails? If so, all semi-autos will show wear spots there. 0 -
Your probably seeing the points where the barrel lugs lock in place when its in battery and ready to shoot. 0 -
Thanks for the answers...but no and no. It is when the gun is in full recoil the barrel comes back and rubs the frame just in front of the magazine well on either side of the bottom of the barrel and the top of the frame. 0 -
That's where the barrel feed ramp is supposed to hit so the slide can push a round into it. 0 -
