AR to 22 conversion kit

Does anyone know how well the CMMG AR to 22 cal conversion kit works in a Bushmaster? The CMMG kit is availible from Cabela's.

  I considered a conversion a year ago but went with a dedicated upper. Yes, more expensive but has the advantage of using a folding stock since there is no buffer tube. Way cool!!!

  Spikes Tactical says that for best results, your gun should have a rounded hammer, not a hammer with a notch. The CMMG says the same thing. My Bushmaster has a hammer with a notch. I'm worried that I may have problems.
