High Standard Crusader
Has anyone fired, or even seen, a H.S. Crusader?
When I first read about them I thought I had to have one, but never saw or heard of any making it to dealers shelves.
p.s. Should have "Googled" before posting. Apparently High Standard did something on the 1911 format that they called a Crusader.
I'm wondering about their double action revolvers in .44 Mag. and .45.

I remember seeing one for sale at a gun show back in the 1980's, so they are definitely out there. 0 -
The Crusader recolvers prodced by the original High Stadanrd company are related in name only to the Crusader named .45 ACP pistols now being sold by the New High Stadanrd company in Houston.
There were some of the revolvers made in both .44 Magnum and .45 Colt in two levels of trim and barrel length. Producion was planned for other barrel length and for a medium frame in .357 but they never reached prodcution even though they were cataloged.
The links in Trap55's post are to auctions for the short barreled version on the lower level of trim.
Here is a link to my research log on the Crusader revolvers. Showing which serial number were used, the ship dates and in some cases the dealers to which the were shipped.
