    %500 sounds about right to me. S&W made a lot of Model 15 revolvers back in the day, but not too many survive NIB. FYI your gun was made in 1985.

    I agree with the price, and maybe a little more, but it takes a collector, instead of the average shooter to buy one. Most of the shooters that just want something to shoot won't buy it if it isn't a 357 magnum. I came up with a nice Model 14 one time, waiting through a line of several people that wouldn't buy it because the price was right, just not the caliber.

    A lot of folks have come to the realization that Colt & S&W revolvers made in the 1950's - 1980's are fine guns that will never be made again, & they are bringing good prices now.

    Top prices go for minty examples, especially in the original box. Unusual variations (& barrel lengths) are especially sought after.
