Discolored stock- Composite

I bought a brand new Cricket rifle to give away as a gift for Christmas.

When I brought it home I noticed a discoloration in the stock, a pink one.

I bought the display model. It was all they had left at my local Dick's sporting goods.

They gave me a $20 discount, because it was a display model, and I had mentioned that the stock was a little dirty from being handled.

When I got it home and opened the box, I see where the salesperson removed the stickers from the stock. There is the original pretty pink under where the stickers were, but the rest of the stock looks faded.

Any ideas how I might bleach out the rest of the stock?

I have already contacted Keystone, and they want $40 + s/h to replace the stock!

    If it were mine this is what I would do. Since the stock is already pink. I would go down to the hardware store and buy me a can of pink krylon and paint the whole stock pink. I was looking at one today (cricket)and I really could not believe how small they are. Krylon is some really good paint and holds up to abuse well. In the future if it would get scratched real bad all it would need is a quick touch up. I've painted a few guns that way and got quite a few good comments on how they looked.Good luck

    The sun just bleached it out is all thats wrong..

    Armalite1015 has a really good suggestion. If you even want to get fancy, you can go to an auto-parts store and get some real flashy stuff, including the clear coat. But the least inexpensive way out is the Krylon...and you can touch it up later.
