Black Powder Deringer type pistol

I am looking for info on a gun that I got from my dad. The gun appears to have no manufacturers markings on it but it does have the name R. Sauter engraved on it. The only thing I know is that my dad got the gun around 40yrs ago and that he has never fired it. Again Im just looking for any sort of info on this particular handgun or any info that could lead me in the right direction as to find something out about this handgun. Thanks in advance
