22 conversion kit accuracy
I was considering a conversion kit for one of my Mini 14's instead of buying a new 22 rifle. My question is, will my rifle hold zero between 223 and 22lr? If not, how much of a difference can I expect?

Probably will be OK at 25yds. 50+100 will be quite low. 0 -
I'd just get a Ruger 10/22 you will be much happier. 0 -

+1.
The 10-22 will probably not cost much more than the conversion kit, but be more durable, accurate, reliable, and offer greater ability to accessorize.0 -

Cieners go for what $180/$190 with a single mag? With a few extra mags then you're basically in the 10/22 price.
Mini-14 would be a better long range plinker and the 10/22 would be for the short. If you're using a scope you'll be adjusting the up and down everytime you swap out to shoot the .223 or .22LR.
buy the 10/22 like it's been mentioned and mod it [:D].0
