Colt tactical rimfire
Anybody have any experienc with the new Colt tactical rimfires. All comments are welcomed. Are they cheaply made wannabees.

haven't fired one, but yes, they're imported from turkey and stamped with the colt logo. I picked one up to look at in a gun shop. I was expecting something like a colt AR-15. It wasn't, much. 0 -
The only bad thing about them is the trigger. It is a modular assy. and is horrible. Other than that, fun gun to play with.
Heard the S&W is a lot better.0 -

I think that says all you need to know. [;)]
My understanding is that these are made by Umarex, which is better known for making airguns. (Not that this, by itself is necessarily a bad thing).
I also think some of the diehards are annoyed that Colt will allow its name to be used on a M4 clone with "evil" features, but won't sell the real McCoy to American civilians.0
