    toby thompson,

Welcome to the forum. With the information you gave you could probably get a better answer going directly to Savage @ www.savagearms.com

Pics would help if you can. There is a 'sticky' post at the top of this forum explaining how to do it. I use www.tinypic.com myself. Upload your photo then reduce it to 640x480 so it fits our screens. Take he second line down (made for forums) and copy/paste that into your reply.

You need to CONTACT savage. They will be able to tell you when it was made. The reality is it was probably made after 1994 and depending on the stock is worth any where between 275-400, and a little more if it is new enough to have the accutrigger.

    Toby,

It sounds like either a 112FVSS. Pre-Accutrigger would put it before 2001. My 12FV (non-stainless) in .223 was a 1999(?) model. Anyways, the only way I can see this is for you to go to the "contact" "support" drop-down box and find an e-mail address and write them. Or, you can call them.
