C & R FFL
Good morning,
BATF charged my credit card on 3 Sep for the FFL fee, but I have yet to receive the license. Does it usually take this long? I have checked the website and cannot find a point of contact. Does anyone know who I can call?
Thanks.

First license seems to be running about 90 days. You can check with the licensing section, they are in Atlanta, but would not panic yet. 0 -
They always charge your account right away but paperwork takes a while.
You can call the Licensing Center toll-free for a status update at 1-866-662-27500 -
your lucky they did not hit the charge button twice and make you ask for it back..the guvermint needs the money[;)] 0 -

My account was charged on Oct 7, 2009 and was told it takes 60 days.
I am still waiting.

I remember the one me and my buddy did 4 years ago. It was 11 days from putting the form in the mail box to getting the license in the mail. This was for each of ours.
I was totally shocked. But back then NFA transfers were taking 6 months which is now down to about 3.0 -

Called the toll free number today, spoke to someone in WV. She said that I should have received it by now. She said that she will check with the clerk that is handling it and have it expedited. Should ship in a few days. [The check is in the mail!] I'll believe it when it arrives. 0 -
mine took almost 4 months but cashed the check real quick 0
