Armscor M1600 Safety
I recently bought a new Armscor M1600 .22 The safety on it seems to be messed up. It will fire in the "Fire" position, and it will not fire in the "safety" position. The problem is, the safety will slide past the safety position when i pull it back and it will basically be able to fire again. I took it apart and the safety is operated by a piece of metal that slides along a rail. there is a spring that pops up into two bubbles in the peice of metal. There is a rectangle cut out in the metal where there is a hole in the rail that holds a metal ball that stops the safety from sliding further past the 'safety' position. The problem is that the ball is loose and just floats around in there. My original thought would be to just super glue it in there. I worry about the glue falling through the hole and messing with the trigger. Has anyone ever encountered this problem, or have any suggestions on fixing it? I hope my poor explaination wasn't too confusing.
I'd say my knowledge of guns is close to a beginner's level, so try to not rip me apart for not knowing how to decribe what I'm talking about, hopefully you guys are familiar enough with the Armscor M1600 safety to know what I'm talking about.
