I have a feller here w/ a Win.Model 70 Lightwt. in 270 cal. w/internal mag.load.He say's that it can accept a drop clip mag.!! I cannot find any thing on this.,Any help? Thank's,Larry

  I have win. model 70 lightweight in 280 rem. mine would not accept a drop clip with out some modifactions there is nothing to hold the clip in( I assume you are talking about a detachable mag)

  If you are talking about a stripper clip, then you have a Pre-64' Model 70. If you are talking about the Model 70 DBM(detatchable box magazine), they made them for a few years in the 90's.
