I try not to confuse loyalty for America with loyalty for American companies. The truth is many companies merely assemble here with parts being made all over the world, and if it meant an increase in profits most would use imports in a heartbeat. Ultimately, as a consumer, I spend my money on the product that will give me the best value, where it comes from is irrelevent. Now I also consider parts availability and servicing when I'm weighing my options. There's definatly more to the equation than just price. If American businesses want consumer loyalty, then they need to show some loyalty to us by making an affordable, quality product.
